🍽️ Recipe Title: Rosie's Goat Curry

📝 Story:

My own recipe of the traditional Goat Curry dish.

 

🛒 Ingredients:

Cooking oil

Spring Onion

Goat meat (shoulder)

Leek

Fresh garlic (whole pieces)

Paprika

Onion (chopped or paste)

Tumeric powder

Sweet pepper (or Scotch bonnet)

Dry chive

Mixed herbs (could be any mixed herbs)

Fresh tyme

Curry powder (Jamican)

Potatoes

 

👨‍🍳 Method:

Marinate the goat meat over night with the curry powder, tumeric, sesoning, garlic powder, fresh garlic, paprika and onion paste.

Next day, add oil to pot, spring oinion, fresh garlic, chopped onions, sweet peppers (depending on how hot you want), dry chive, mixed herbs, fresh tyme and curry powder.

Sweat the spices and add the meat.  Add water.

High heat and bring to boil and then turn low to cook.  Add potatoes towards the end.

 

Cook for a few hours on low.

 

📸 Tips / Notes:

Serve with rice.  Add boiling water to get good gravy.
